Bishop David Walkowiak, of the Grand Rapids Diocese, recently wrote a letter to Aquinas faculty, staff, and students (i.e., you!!), for the beginning of the new school year.

“Catholic school education,” he said, “helps young people to discover and follow God’s plan.  Catholic schools are places where, through prayer, learning, and service to others, young people are well-educated, formed in faith, and come to understand their connection to one another and the greater community.”

Bishop Walkowiak concluded his letter by promising our community his continued prayer, for “growth in faith and for your success this academic year.”

The letter may be read in-full here.
